Linear axes enable the controlled movement of a load between two or more positions and form the basis of many modern handling and automation applications.

Pick & Place: Picking, Moving and Positioning

In a Pick & Place application, the system picks up a product from a defined position, performs a controlled movement and positions it in the next area of the process.

Depending on the product, handling can be performed using mechanical grippers, pneumatic systems or vacuum, while the movement can be synchronized with conveyors, workstations, inspection systems or other automated equipment.
