The R911412495 software license activates the device interface for the Realtime Ethernet system PROFINET, allowing the ctrlX DRIVEplus with CORE option and the ctrlX COREplus to connect as a subsystem under a third-party PROFINET controller. The PROFINET device data is available for all apps on the ctrlX CORE via the real-time data layer. The configuration of the PROFINET bus system is done within the ctrlX CORE web dialogue.
