The XMD2 double-axis inverters in the ctrlX DRIVE series are supplied with DC voltage and generate a controlled AC output voltage with variable amplitude and frequency for the operation of two motors. The inverters are supplied from the DC bus of the XVE2 or XVR2 supply units and/or the XCS2 or XCD2 converters. Via the standard runtime, which enables the realization of most drive tasks, additional optional function packages for demanding applications are available. By means of various ordering options, it is possible to expand the hardware with ctrlX SAFETY for safety-related applications up to SIL3.
